Depending on the severity of the mite presence, we can use a combination of control methods from targeted neem oil sprays, and dustings. Each property is unique in the way treatment is most effective and safe. Utilizing IPM (Integrated Pest Management) we first figure out where the infestations are and then provide a personalized treatment plan depending on your situation.
What can I do to decrease mite presence on my property?
The best way of preventing mites on your property is by managing other insects that are beneficial and feed on mites. These beneficial insects include but are not limited to brown lacewings, green lacewings, and ladybugs. Often times, broad-spectrum insecticides will kill these beneficial insects therefore causing the mite population to thrive.
